Spiced Pork Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

Pork Meatballs in a slightly spiced tomato sauce are handmade from the finest British pork, sourced locally from trusted Yorkshire suppliers. Juicy, flavour-packed meatballs gently simmered in a rich, aromatic tomato sauce with subtle warming spices. Perfect for a comforting midweek meal or family dinner. Prepared fresh daily in our family shop.
Remove from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to bring to room temperature.
Pour the meatballs and sauce into a saucepan or ovenproof dish.
Heat gently on the hob over medium heat for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until piping hot and the meatballs are cooked through.
Alternatively, cover and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 4 for 25–30 minutes.
To enhance the dish, stir in a handful of frozen peas, chopped asparagus, sliced peppers or spinach for the last 5–10 minutes of cooking. adding chopped tomatoes helps make it extra saucy or A splash of cream or crème fraîche can also be added for extra richness if desired.
Best enjoyed with spaghetti, creamy mashed potato, crusty bread or rice.
